Ragamuffintop Update

I’ve been slack in updating on my Ragamuffintop Challenge progress, but pretty good on following through with my goals.  I’m 5 or 6 weeks in now, and my waist measurement is down 2.5″ to 38″.  Still got 2″ to go for my 36″ goal.  And, I’m down about 12 pounds.

I haven’t worked out as much as I’d hoped, but that’s mostly been due to our irregular schedule these last few weeks.  I’ve been playing some tennis (and still looking for a tennis partner - if you play & you’re in or around Burlington, let me know) and doing a lot of yard work.  My big win has been eating.  I’ve stuck pretty close to my goal of 1 sugary item per day when I work out and 0 sugary items per day when I don’t work out.  Amazing how much difference it makes when I cut out sweet tea refills, bowls of ice cream, and 10pm candy bars.

  3. I like your sugary-item rule! I’m kinda glad I moved to New England - no sweet tea here. I would never lose any weight!

Keep up the good work! ~:-)

  4. Keep going, it’s not easy but you’re doing it and you can make these goals. I gave up soda, but I don’t know about the candy bars….a girl NEEDS her chocolate! :)
