Prior to this baseball season Elon renovated Latham Park, adding stadium-style chairback seating, new fencing to enclose most of the park, and a policy change to charge admission to baseball games for the first time. The seating area looks great.

I’m not so sure about the fence enclosing the park and charging for admission. Elon has a great atmosphere for baseball and I’d hate for the admission charge to keep people away and take away from the home-field advantage Elon enjoys. Judge for yourself by checking out the photo gallery.

Things are working out great so far this year, though, as Elon is off to a 10-0 start.
