A few weeks ago I figured the “Rockies are a Christian organization” storyline would pick up steam as the Rockies plowed their way to winning 21-of-22 must-win games.  It’s taken longer than I thought (guess the media was too busy worrying what would happen if the World Series featured two teams from flyover states - luckily the Red Sox came back against the Indians and saved us all from having to watching a game on national TV not involving the Red Sox or Yankees), but today the New York Times hopped on the bandwagon with a pretty nondescript piece.  A disappointingly shallow piece from the Times.
