Harry Potter

I read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows this weekend.  I won’t spoil the ending for anyone who cares to read it, but I’ll give this brief review:

Very entertaining book, one of the best of the series, some outstanding dramatic sequences among some overly long sections, and after a 7-book series totaling about 4000 pages, the last couple hundred pages of the book were genuinely riveting.

Three out of four stars.  Would be three and a half stars except the book is in dire need of being tightened up - cut 100 pages of chaff and it’s a much, much better book.

Sorry, comments for this entry are closed at this time.
