Brush With Greatness

I’m in DC for a software conference (yeah, it’s about as exciting as you’d imagine), and tonight a few of us went out for dinner to Filomena in Georgetown, as we’ve done the past few years. Highly recommended.

After dinner some of us walked up the street to Rhino Bar. It was quiet since it’s Monday, but one guy kept things exciting for a while. He was wearing a Duke t-shirt and drinking shots of tequila & tabasco, celebrating his 22nd birthday and seeing how long he could hold out before blowing chunks into the trash can next to the bar. He made it a while before the inevitable happened. Happened spectacularly.

Reminds me why I don’t drink any more.
