Technorati is phenomenal (Web 2.0 at its finest). I’ve created a watchlist to see what bloggers are saying about Elon (and subscribed to the RSS feed), and lately many high school bloggers have been posting about their college application results. Here are some highlights (warning: these are unaltered from the source; some language is offensive).

I got fucking deferred from Elon. What the hell? They want to see my first semester grades. Annnd the final decision will be made on March 15th. Fuck that, I’m going to Catawba.

If they don’t want me right away, well, then I don’t want them. I think it’s because they didn’t get my good SAT scores. Fuck. This fucking sucks.

Oh, well. This day is just getting better and better.

i got into Elon, im so happy right now u can probably only imagine if uve ever been REALLY happy, so since i got in, im going to apply to their business scholarship program, and hopefully ill get into that too, but that will come mcuh much later, right now im just gunna order stupid elon clothes, veg out, hang out and not think about school till after christmas….GO PHOENIX!

Tomorrow I find out if I got into Elon. Oh, oh man Laura. It’s really scary to find out like… you know, about the only school you care about, before any of the others. Like… had I have applied early to like Charleston, and had they accepted me, I wouldn’t be nearly as nervous. But now it’s my first notification ever, and if I don’t get in, I will be doubly as upset because a) my top choice will be gone and b) I will need to figure out where else to apply and where I can def. get in and…. *stress*
