From the Mouth of Pat Robertson
By Brian on Aug 24, 2005
Here’s an interesting comparison of two statements by Pat Robertson.
Situation #1:
The day before the 700 Club was scheduled to air a piece about XXXChurch.com, Robertson said, “Jesus would not go to a porn convention.” The piece was pulled from the next day’s broadcast but was later aired on Pat’s day off (link).
Pat says: Jesus would not go to a porn convention.
Situation #2:
A few days ago, Robertson called for the assassination of Venezuelen President Hugo Chavez. Robertson said, “We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability” (transcript and video).
Pat says: Jesus would assassinate foreign heads of state.

God did assassinate a head of state:
“And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them. And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man. And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost” (Acts 12:21-23).
Ananias and Sapphira were slain before Peter (Acts 5:1-11). Paul called upon the Lord to blind Elymas for a season (Acts 13:6-12). If more Christians learned how to move more militantly in faith, rather than issue calls to arms and military advice, then we might see more dictators like Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro come to the faith or sent providentially to their deaths.

As a Satanist, I have often called for Pat Robertsons assassination.
