The Dilbert Ultimate House (DUH)

The Dilbert Ultimate House (DUH) introduced me to SynLawn, a company that produced and sells artificial turf for your lawn. It looks like it looks realistic (from the pictures), though right now I think they only give a 10 year guarantee on color fastness. At $6 to $10 per square foot (that would be $30,000-$50,000 for an eighth of an acre, which would only cover our front yard) it’s outrageously expensive, especially considering it has to be replaced every 10 years. But I’m sure the price will drop as volume increases, and the color fastness should last longer and longer as technology improves.
