I got a cheesy email forward today from someone I know only vaguely. And it ended with that line, like most other cheesy Christian email forwards I receive. Jesus said if you love me you’ll give up your life, take up the cross, fast, turn the other cheek, and love your enemies. And we say if you love God then you’ll forward this email to ten people.

God help us.
