Roughly 14,000 people have died

Roughly 14,000 people have died in Iraq over the past year due to the conflict. Roughly 11,000 people were murdered in the United States last year. Roughly 43,000 Americans died in automobile accidents last year. More than 1.3 million children were killed by abortion in the U.S. last year, and more than 1 million children have been aborted every year since 1977.

I don’t know what all these numbers mean, I just came across them in news articles, TV news, etc. over the past few weeks. I normally don’t use provocative language like “were killed by abortion,” but the longer I live with my kids and the more I learn about pregnancy and the early stages of fetal development the more barbaric abortion is to me. I don’t want to hear anything about “choice.” People can choose to do what they want with their own body. But abortion is someone else’s body, and it’s the most helpless and innocent.
